The 7th Annual Western Pennsylvania Trial Lawyers Association's Presidents Challenge 5k Run/Walk/Wheel, held on April 14th, was a great success, surpassing all previous Runs.  The event culminated in the presentation of a $25,000.00 check to the Steelwheelers at the WPTLA's Annual Judiciary Dinner on May 5th.  The WPTLA has now contributed $123,000.00 to the Steelwheelers over the past 7 years.  Obviously, this event has had a tremendous impact on the Steelwheelers and has allowed the organization to continue in its mission to provide competetive sporting opportunities to athletes with disabilities.

The Steelwheelers would like to thank Run Chairman, Chris Miller, for his great efforts, as evidenced by the fantastic result.  We would also like to thank WPTLA President, Veronica Richards, and the entire WPTLA for their participation and contributions to the Presidents Challenge as well as Laurie, Maria and the many other volunteers who made the event run smoothly and successfully.  Finally, a thanks to Honorable Beth A. Lazarra, who founded the event 7 years ago and for the impact it has had on the Steelwheelers' Organization
